Anne Brown (PCC, CPC, CCMP, MBA)

Anne is a seasoned Learning and Development professional with over three decades of experience in various leadership and executive roles across multiple industries including healthcare, higher education, technology, marketing, media and finance. Her career is marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a deep understanding of human behavior in the workplace.

Anne’s approach to coaching and training combines a solid business foundation with learning intervention techniques grounded in evidence-based research, empathy, and mindfulness. She partners with clients navigating significant changes, moving from management to executive roles, managing increased business complexity, leading new teams, or transitioning careers. Anne helps these leaders recognize their strengths and challenges, develop fresh perspectives, and apply new skills and behaviors. Throughout the coaching process, her clients feel both challenged and supported, enhancing their ability to tackle evolving complexities and dynamics.

Anne’s early career provided her with valuable insights into leadership success and obstacles. She worked closely with many prominent business leaders as Director of Education at Outreach at The Committee of 200 and as the Associate Director of Alumni Relations at the Kellogg School of Management. These roles allowed her to travel and attend private speaking engagements with some of the most notable business leaders and management scholars at that time. Anne later held executive positions, including Director and VP roles in operations and talent development at large global firms. As the Organizational Effectiveness Management (OEM) practice lead at Slalom in Kansas City, she delivered organizational culture and change management solutions, and expanded the consulting business through both business development and delivery. In 2018, Anne founded Thrive Training, focusing on delivering impactful programs in presentation skills, emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, energy management, and leadership. She has collaborated with organizations like Mitsubishi Power and KPERS, and her coaching has empowered professionals from companies such as Chevron, Chipotle, Google, Meta, Amazon, DoorDash, Cisco, Dell, and WalkMe.

Anne’s dedication to her work stems from witnessing the profound impact a leader can have on people and business outcomes. She believes that continuous learning and growth among leaders create a positive ripple effect throughout an organization, enhancing employee engagement and profitability.

Anne holds an MBA from Loyola University’s Quinlan School of Business and a BA from Michigan State University. She is an ICF-certified coach and a Certified Clifton Strengths coach through Gallup. Currently, Anne is completing her doctoral dissertation on organizational culture and generational dynamics at Kansas State University.
